Cook County Health Foundation is pleased to announce that twenty scholarships were awarded to deserving students working toward health care careers. Recipients were recognized at an awards ceremony on August 2, 2022 at Provident Hospital. Thirteen of the students are seeking medical and dentistry degrees. Seven are working toward careers in allied health professions, such as nursing and radiology technology.

Cook County Health Foundation is funding the Allied Health scholarships while Cook County is funding the Professional Health scholarships. All are focused on increasing the presence of people from communities of color in health care roles.
